My first shoot with Evie was a fantastic experience. It started with a hair and makeup session with the talented and awesome Mariel McClorey. We had a location shoot planned, but unfortunately, the weather had other plans. Rain poured all day long - and we were forced to shoot in the studio instead - but the results were awesome. Shooting on both my Olympus 35mm film camera & my Canon 5D mk2 were were able to capture some great images. The first 10 images are scans of the 35mm film I shot that day. Cannot wait to work with this extremely talented and beautiful model again.
We were living out out a van, while on a cross-USA road trip, me and Corey, back in 2012.
In Nashville, we met Karen and whilst she couldn't shoot with us because her boyfriend disapproved of it, she suggested we drive out to the Old State Prison.
It'd been used as a film location for The Green Mile and it was extremely creepy walking amongst the rubble of all that bad voodoo.
We drove in a parked the van discreetly out of site before spending a few hours shooting with the very awesome Megan. I think she really enjoyed being so 'free' in a place that represented the polar opposite of fredom for so long.
We climbed to the top of the watch-tower and shot atop the crumbling walls, beside the razor wire. The sun set and we left. Despite the rad shoot, it felt really good to be out of there.
